A History Of Results

Affordable Transmissions has a respectable history that translates into great results in transmission work. The company opened more than five decades ago under the leadership of front-line salesman William Gundry and shop transmission rebuilder Richard Offet. Current owner Asipeli Tuitupou joined the team in 1978, quickly moving beyond an employed rebuilder to a trusted all-around team member. When Richard decided to leave the business later that year, Asipeli bought in as a new partner. William and Asipeli ran the business together until William passed away in 2000. Asipeli continued as the sole proprietor, still operating with the same high standards today. Our rich history is crucial to the quality and range of services you receive here. No matter what you need—preventive maintenance, minor repair, or major work/rebuild/replacement—we have the experience to complete the job reliably. Our scope of work includes transmission fluid changes, flushes, differential service, transfer case repairs, clutch repairs, transmission rebuilds, and replacements.
